GRUNDIG INTRODUCES ECO-FRIENDLY LCD TVS

Grundig expands its LCD TV range and implements its plan to use a CarbonNeutral® programme to offset CO² emissions associated with the usage of its LCD TVs sold in the UK. This means, you no longer have to worry about the Carbon emissions given out by your TV – Grundig does it for you!

Grundig introduces LCDs TVs with carbon emissions offset, starting the first scheme of its kind for high street electrical products in the UK. The first products to launch are Grundig’s 26, 32 and 37 inch LCD TVs with a fuller range of offset products rolling out later in the year.

The CarbonNeutral Company worked with Grundig to estimate the CO² produced for one year’s usage after purchase. For every 1kg of global warming gas emitted, Grundig is paying for 1kg to be saved through climate friendly projects which have met the demanding quality standards of the CarbonNeutral Protocol.

Projects Underway Are:
· Methane capture in the USA
· Wind farming in India
· Forestry in the UK

Inside each Grundig product box, purchasers will receive more information about the projects and tips on how to determine and reduce their own carbon footprint further.
